BRINGING LIGHT IN DARK TIMES

After moving to the Welsh coast a number of years ago, Samantha quickly fell in love. The sights, the smells, the people. Wanting to give back to the local community, they began donating to local charities and at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic helped to find lodgings for the homeless. Wishing they could do more, Samantha founded the Cathari Church of Wales and, later, Welsh Waxworks & Chandlery, to help raise funds to improve not only their own life, but those of the community that had welcomed them all those years ago. 

Our candles and wax melts are made by hand here in (not so) sunny Ceredigion! Each one is a labour of love, reflecting the values of excellence and community that we hold dear. Being motivated by the love of the craft, rather than purely by profit, we're able to ensure that our products are affordable despite the rising cost of living.
